SHORT STIRRUP
Juniors 12 years of age and under.  SEE LONG STIRRUP.

SHOWMANSHIP
The exhibitor is judged on ability to present and show a horse in the ring to its greatest advantage. The judge looks at presentation, condition, grooming and fittings of horse, as well as the appearance and grooming of exhibitor.

TICKETED WARM-UPS
Riders purchase tickets to be able to ride the course prior to the class. These are not judged. Trainers may help their students. Only ONE round per warm-up.

TRAIL
Riders may walk the trail prior to class starting. Horses are judged on responsiveness and willingness.

TROT
Required to trot course.

WALK / TROT
Horses will be shown at walk and trot (jog) only.

WESTERN RIDING
Horses will be judged on riding qualities of gaits, flying changes of lead, response to rider, manners and disposition. Check out this article from Young Rider Magazine on western position.

YEAR END AWARDS
All scores are tabulated over the year for each discipline and highest scores to be presented at Awards Banquet.
