DASC
Dressage Association of Southern California. Members qualify for yearly regional championships in tests, breed and exhibition.

DOUBLES (Jumpers)
Timed event of teams of two riders jump alternate jumps in sequence. Rider One 1-3-5 etc., Rider Two 2-4-6 etc.. Can also be a Relay; course ridden consecutively.

DRESSAGE
Series of tests building on the athleticism of the horse. Ridden in a court 20’ x 60’. Horse cannot exit court during test and must move according to test requirements. If the horse goes off course, the judge will stop the test and restart it at their discretion or disqualify the rider.

DRESSAGE HACK (Western)
Horses are judged at working, medium and extended gaits. Sitting trot at discretion of judge.

ENGLISH / WESTERN
Open to both disciplines.

EQUITATION (English / Western)
Only the rider is judged; any horse capable of performing required class routine is acceptable.

EVENTING
Three phases of arena show jumping, cross country jumps and dressage in which scores are combined.
